An eclipse occurs when the orbits of the Moon and the Earth align closely enough together with the Sun and the Moon to block the light of the Sun from the Earth (a Solar Eclipse), or the Moon (a Lunar Eclipse). Every month we have a New Moon, but only every six months do we have eclipses. A Solar Eclipse is when the Moon is exactly between the Sun and the Earth and blocks the light of the Sun from the Earth. Solar Eclipses are very powerful New Moons and are known to herald significant and powerful endings and beginnings. Events that are triggered by an eclipse usually take six months to unfold, so you can expect this process of change to continue as you begin to feel like a flower opening its’ petals. Special opportunities to break old patterns become apparent as you begin to make major changes in your life. Metamorphosis is another word associated with eclipses. The Solar Eclipse on August 21, 2017 will occur at 2:30pm at 28° Leo 53’. All Leo Sun Sign people will be most affected by this Solar Eclipse as will those with Leo rising. Aries: This eclipse is strongest on children in your life. They have personal life-changing dramas. Most of these are normal - going off to college, marriage, etc. They are redefining themselves and will be a six-month process. You have job and health regime changes.
Taurus: Repairs to the home are necessary as hidden problems in the home are revealed. Perhaps there’s a hidden leak in the piping. Now you find out about these things and action has to be taken. Inconvenient, yes! But, good that the problem can be dealt with!
Gemini: Cars and communication equipment get tested and may need to be repaired or replaced, but overall this eclipse is basically benign to you. Be more patient with family members as the energy of this eclipse impacts home and family. Enjoy what comes to light.
Cancer: Financial changes abound! Your financial thinking and strategy need an overhaul as changes you’ve been expecting a due to occur, along with one or two you might not have foreseen. Stay calm. It’s simply time to prioritize. If you don’t need it, get rid of it!
Leo: Love and Relationships and YOU! YOU are very intensely affected as you will be changing your image, look and presenta-tion to the world.
